Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili Famously known as Babu owino has come out with a different story, he said that after IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati declared William Ruto the 5th president of Kenya, Babu told the former interior ps Karanja Kibicho to arrest him but he refused.
He told the PS that the way things were moving, they needed to work very fast, but kibicho just replied Babu to stop war. He said that he thought kibicho was on Raila's side, so he was the one to arrest the IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati or they go for a rerun.
This made Babu believe that deep state might have been a joke.Babu still in denial hasn't conceded defeat, he still thinks Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition won the August 9th presidential polls. He is always saying that he doesn't understand how they lost the elections with the deep state support.
