The good news for President William Ruto today comes from rumors that Hon. Eugine Wamalwa, the former CS for Uhuru for Devolution, has also endorsed his (Ruto's) Bottom-Up economic model. Wamalwa continues to believe that this is evidence that the politics of deceit have abruptly ended.
In his remarks to the press conference on Friday, the DAP-K Party Boss pleaded with the head of state to reconsider his decision to abolish the Ministry of Devolution. He also stated that he would support Ruto in the recently concluded general election in 2022, despite the fact that they read from different pages, because he understood that Kenya is bigger than an individual.
This was said by Wamalwa, who also acknowledged that devolution is the only way the Bottom-Up strategy can be implemented properly because empowerment is carried out at the County Assembly from the National Level to the Ground Man.
