According to a poll local news outlet the Star, Deputy President William Ruto would win the presidential elections if the polls are held today beating ODM boss Raila Amollo Odinga but with a minimum margin, a poll has shown.

As per the poll by the media house, the second in command is leading the poll with 46.1% followed by former prime minister Raila Odinga who has 35.1%.
The poll showed Ruto's popularity has been dropping gradually in the last year while that of Raila significantly shot up particularly after the last Azimio La Umoja Convention on 10 December 2021 where the ODM leader declared his candidature.
One kenya Alliance leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka come third and fourth with 2.4% and 1.4%.
Also the star claims that Raila Odinga bas overtaken the DP in western and coast regions where he was leading in the previous polls.
