'We Don't Need This at Supreme Court' Top UDA Ally Laments of Heavy Security Presence [Photos]

President Uhuru and ODM boss Raila Odinga seem not to have given up on BBI as their attempt to jump-start the bill has kicked off. Today, Tuesday 18, 2022, the Supreme Court is officially hearing the bill that did not survive in the lower courts.

However, the heavy presence of security at the most-high court in the land has caught the attention of many. Particularly, a top UDA ally, lawyer Abdinasir Abdullahi has lamented the heavy presence of armed police at the law establishment.

"We don't need this in the SUPREME COURT!," he has Tweeted.

This may certainly imply that trouble has been foreseen and the government has moved with speed to beef up security. Kenyans have however held differing opinions while reacting to this news. Below are their reactions.

@Onyango Otieno: You can be sure they are not doing it because they fear Raila of Uhuru. They fear Ruto's desperation.

@Patrick Mwangi: Do they know the outcome already? Is the outcome pre-planned? Will the outcome be unpopular to the masses, hence the heavy presence of security?
