ANC party leader Hon. Musalia Mudavadi toured Kakamega County on Saturday, July 2nd. Mudavadi joined Kakamega senator who is also a gubernatorial aspirant Hon. Cleophas Malala at a rally in Shinyalu Constituency. Hon. Malala is seeking to take over Kakamega County governorship come August general polls. The senator is vying for the seat on a ANC party ticket.
However, addressing Shinyalu residents Mudavadi pleaded with the voters to rally behind Deputy president William Ruto come August general polls. Mudavadi said that they are done with Hon. Raila and no one should ever be convinced to vote for the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya flag bearer. "I am pleading with you that we want you to vote for William Samoei Ruto as president. I want to tell you that we are done with Raila. No one should be losen his or her belt." Mudavadi posed.
Further, the ANC chief added that the president has already retire from office. Mudavadi said It's only remaining less than 30 days for the head of state to go home. Musalia claimed the president has found it hard to take his home county leaders to Azimio. "Uhuru has already retired and it's only remaining 30 days for him to go home. This man(Uhuru) has found it hard to take his area MCA, MP Hon. Moses Kuria, his county governor and senator, women rep to Azimio." Mudavadi said.

Adding on his remarks, Mudavadi left the crowd restless after asking if God placed mud or mind on their buttocks. According to Mudavadi, Shinyalu residents should re-think about president Uhuru's failure to take his home leaders to Azimio coalition. "Am asking you residents of Shinyalu, did God placed mud on your buttocks or mind.? If the president himself cannot take his own leaders to Azimio, what a you doing their if he(Uhuru) failed?" Mudavadi asked leaving the crowd restless.
