With only 34 days to the August general elections, politicians have been crisscrossing the country in search of votes.
However, despite the Azimio One Kenya Coalition running mate gaining popularity in the recent polls, the Mt.Kenya region is still intact and a stronghold of Kenya Kwanza.
The Meru gubernatorial bid has been a three-horse race. Among the candidates is Mithika Linturi from Kenya Kwanza, Kiraitu Murungi from Azimio One Kenya, and lastly Kawira Mwangaza of the Jubilee party.
In the recent Mizani polls analysis Mithika Linturi from Kenya Kwanza commanded the lead with 32.3%, Kawira Mwangaza took the second position with 29.4% and Kiraitu Murungi came last with 28.1%.
However, 10% of the Meru population is still undecided and this will alter the outcome. The competition is ongoing yet since the margin between Mithika Linturi and Kawira Mwangaza is small.
Will Kiraitu Murungi make the difference in the remaining days? Share your remark below.
