Tension High in Nakuru County Ahead of William Ruto's Visit

Tension is high in Nakuru county few hours before deputy President William Ruto's much publicized visit. Local leaders are in silent war with themselves on who will be the host in various stop overs across the county.

Unlike in other areas the DP was visiting in different parts of Rift Valley, Nakuru has no major project from either of the leaders that he will preside over. He will be visiting Kuresoi South and North constituency where no project has been set up for launching.

Being highly contentious, MP aspirants all want to own up the function with each taking credit of the visit. Former MP Zakayo Cheruiyot is expected to steal the show as he is being welcomed to join UDA from CCM.

He recently sponsored the repainting of CCM office to UDA. Today his supporters stormed the offices to see if everything was set. The incident saw their rivals from the incumbents camp unhappy.

As witnessed today in the North rift 'unwanted leaders ' could be heckled.
