JUST IN: Mike Sonko Acquitted In Ksh 20M Graft Case

Mike Sonko, a former Nairobi County Governor, is ecstatic today after the High Court of Kenya cleared him of all charges related to a 20 million Kenya shilling graft case when he was the county executive at the time.

The former Nairobi governor, who made a failed bid for the top position in Mombasa County, was present this morning at the Milimani Law Courts when the decision was rendered.

The Former Governor of Nairobi is clear of the charge, according to the current, trustworthy reports we received from Milimani Law Courts this afternoon.

When he was the governor of Nairobi, the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission reported him for embezzling 20 million shillings in county funds. The case is still pending at the Milimani Law Courts. Thus, the 20 million shilling graft lawsuit against former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been dismissed.

The accusations brought against the former governor of Nairobi were deemed insufficiently proven by the Anti-Corruption Court Chief Magistrate known as Douglas Ogoti.

This happens a few days after Sonko made a move to assist Baby Sagini whose eyes were coughed off. Leave a comment below.
