CS Murkomen & MP Ichungwah Gift Bodaboda Operator Ksh 200,000 During Launch of Hustler Fund

President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday, 30th November 2022, presided over the launch of the mich awaited Hustler Fund at Green Park Terminus in Nairobi County.

The event of the money lending fund to small businesses was attended by various leaders across all departments of government.

Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwah were among those oresent.

During the event, CS Murkomen and MP Kimani Ichung’wah gifted a bodaboda operator KSh200,000.

The gift from the President Ruto allies to the bodaboda operator was to help him purchase a brand new motorbike to boost his hustle.

After interrogation on the bodaboda operator who said he hails from Umoja but operates in town, CS Murkomen said that he would contribute Ksh 100,000 & Kimani Ichungwah too would contribute Ksh 100,000 to help the bodaboda operator have his own motorbike.

"Mimi na beshte yangu tumekaa pale na beshte yangu anaitwa Kimani Ichungwah tukasema tutashikana pamoja tukusaidie ukuwe na bike. Sasa mimi natoa elfu mia moja na Ichungwah anatoa mia moja halafu usukume hiyo bike, wewe mwenyewe ukuwe na yako," CS Murkomen said.
