The Deputy President William Samoe Ruto is among the political heavyweights that have declared interest for the top seat come 2022.
However Dp Ruto's chances of clinching the house on the hill is becoming minimal as days goes by.
In today's news papers, there have been speculation about formation of a political force that will take on Dp in 2022.
The political alliance tubed One Kenya Alliance OKA is reportedly being sponsored by Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, Moses Wetangula of Ford-K, Gideon Moi of KANU and Kalonzo Musioka of Wiper. It is detailed that the above former principles of NASA coalition are looking for modalities in which they can choose one of them to fly the OKA Presidential ticket.
One of the informer whose identity was hidden said they are looking at the possibility of throwing their weight behind the Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Amolo Odinga as the preferred candidate. However, Mudavadi was against the Idear.
If the OKA Kenya throw their support behind Odinga, Ruto's chances of occupying the top seat will prove to be a tall order.
President Uhuru, who is the first in command had earlier stated that he will support a NASA candidate in 2022. With all state machinery, they will give Ruto a run Dp Ruto's pocket dry.
Their is no way Dp Ruto can be able to defeat all this seasoned and experienced political class if indeed they will combine forces as today's news has reportedly alleged.
Even if Dp is believed to be a tsunami, there is no way he can win over like five tsunamis combined. It will take miracles unless in a free and fair election of which I doubt exist in third world countries.
