President Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga have publicly announced that they will unite against deputy president William Ruto in the coming general election. They are also in talk with One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders so that they can unite together in order to boost the possibility of emerging winners.
Because of his massive support from the country, former prime minister Raila Odinga stands a high chance of being endorsed as presidential candidate by these leaders.
Emerging details indicates that Interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiangi, is being groomed to take a high position after 2022 general election. Currently, he is a third in rank after deputy president William Ruto and president Uhuru Kenyatta.
