The August General Elections are right around the corner with the various aspirants doing their best to try and convince the electorate to vote in their favor come the 9th which is about a week away.
The Gubernatorial Elections will be some of the most competitive elections in the country as devolution has ensured that there is more development in the counties across the country and this is attained by the Governor.
The United Democratic Alliance party, which is led by Deputy President William Ruto, is among the leading ones ahead of the August polls with string candidates across the country.
The Chairman of the Party is Tycoon Johnson Muthama who is vying for the Machakos County Gubernatorial Seat as per the reports that we have with us.
He will be battling it out with his Azimio la Umoja Competition, Wavinya Ndeti who is vying on a Wiper Party ticket and has even been endorsed by Governor Alfred Mutua who is in Kenya Kwanza.
There have been circulating reports on social media that Johnson Muthama who is the Chairman of United Democratic Alliance party had bowed out of the Machakos Gubernatorial Elections.
This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have just received, Johnson Muthama has rubbished those claims saying that he will be in the ballot come August.
Johnson Muthama has dismissed the claims that are circulating on social media purporting that he is set to drop his gubernatorial bid for another candidate.
