Kakamega Governor has received Mama Ida Odinga in Kakamega for an event that was scheduled for today. The two leaders expected to be the guest of honour in the event that seeks to promote the importance of girl child education in the area and also in the country at large.
According to Oparanya on his social media page, the wife to the former prime minister landed in the area a few minutes ago and was warmly received by the locals who could not hide the joy and excitement of having her in the area for the event.
Ida Odinga has been on the forefront trying to push and advocate on the importance of education I'm the country and also advocating for Raila’s presidency in the August poll. So far several leaders have already made their way to the venue of the event with political activities expected to take centre stage today.
