Deputy President William Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance attended a large gathering in South C, Nairobi County, which has now become a laughing stock.
A group of enraged South C residents in Nairobi County allegedly chanted ODM chants towards the vice president.
Mutembei Tv shared a viral video on the internet. As Ruto spoke, irate locals apparently aligned with the ODM were heard and observed shouting and chanting competing slogans.
Deputy president William Ruto had toured the region in an attempt to gain support for his presidential campaign. After the IEBC evaluated and cleared him as a viable candidate for the August elections.
It's worth noting that Raila is thought to have a stronghold in Nairobi County's South C district. Given the widespread support he receives from both locals and allies, he is in a strong position.
