The deputy president Dr William Ruto took a statement to his twitter account revealing details of his meeting with a delegation of politicians from Narok county. Moments after meeting with church members from AIC Ilmasin in Kiserian, Kajiado County, the deputy president had another meeting with the Narok team led by David Ole Sankok and Johana Ng'eno.

"Held talks with a delegation of 32 MCAs from Narok County led by Majority Leader, Benard Parsaloi Torome in the company of MPs David Ole Sankok and Johana Ng'eno, Karen, Nairobi County." DP Ruto posted.
According to the second in command, the meeting was aimed at chatting the way forward as well as selling his new economic approach to them. He also made it clear that he plans to put MCA's at the edge of his economic game plan since they are the people who normally interact with the common mwananchi on a normal basis.
"The economic transformation of our country depends on getting our priorities right and putting resources where it matters. This puts Members of County assemblies at the centre of our economic revival because of their proximity to the people." he added.

Kenyans on twitter roasted Dr Ruto after his post. According to them, it was a shame that the deputy president was not invited by the president to assist in receiving the Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu to the statehouse. They also termed his many meetings as a waste of time and irrelevant.
Other kenyans hailed him saying that was the right way to go since the president was trying to make him irrelevant in the kenyan politics.
"Well done my 5th president! So far so good, ground kuko sawa . We hustlers know and believe our driver is sober minded. No one will distract us from the path we have taken. We love you unconditional." another kenyan replied.
