Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o has called upon the former Nasa principals to join hands with ODM leader Raila Odinga under the Azimio La Umoja, arguing that it is going to form the next government.
Speaking in Kuria on Thursday during Raila's rally, Nyong'o said most Kenyans are now solidly behind Raila since they have realized he is the best person to make the country better.
The county chief went on to state that the number of governors who are supporting Raila's bid have increased from 23 who attended his meeting in Naivasha few days to 35 after the meeting.
"I want to request those in OKA, kindly join us, let us work together under Azimio La Umoja, there is no time for push and pull in politics, Kenyans want a new movement and that is Azimio."
Ngon'yo assured the residents that Raila's government will ensure inclusivity in its administration, ranging from healthcare, education and social protection welfare.
The OKA principals Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetangula have assured their supporters that they are united, and will go to the ballot in August dismissing calls to join either Deputy President William Ruto or Raila's side.
