David Ole Sankok In a Fresh Land Scandal Barely Weeks Into His Election To EALA

Newly elected East African Legislative Assembly (MP EALA) David Ole Sankok has been sucked in a Land dispute in Narok County. A Narok family is Accusing the lawmaker of encroaching on and fencing their 500-acre piece of land after Allegedly forging land documents.

The family's spokesperson Kionga Ole Kipuri claimed the lawmaker stormed the disputed parcel of land early this month and fenced it off despite protest from the affected family.

"We saw a group of men fencing our land, we tried to ask them why they were doing so, Sankok shot in the air two times to scare us. He claims that he bought the land, I am the secretary of this group ranch and I am not aware of that, he said Mzee Ole Kipuri.

It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming months if the Court will affirm that he is the real owner of the disputed land or not.
