President Ruto alongside his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, the Attorney General Justin Muturi, a section of the Cabinet Secretaries and other political leaders launched the fund on Wednesday at Green Park Terminus.
Taking to his Twitter account, Ngunyi opined that Presidentt Ruto did a milestone in launching the project which was one of his campaign pillars, adding that there is hope that the president and the Kenya Kwanza government was able to deliver on its promises.
"#HustleFund is only 0.0166% of our 3 Trillion Shilling BUDGET. Ruto has EXECUTED it with RUTHLESS efficiency and PANACHE. The BAR is now HIGH. Now we expect him to DELIVER the balance of 99.98% of the Budget with similar DETAIL and POMP. There is HOPE," he tweeted.
The fund can easily be accessed through the USSD number *254#, with the range beingSh500 to Sh50,000.
While launching the fund, Ruto defended the limit after a section of leaders criticized him, where he argued that according to the data from the other lenders, most of Kenyans seek loans between Sh500 to Sh2,000.
