Today the Deputy President William Ruto has toured Kirinyaga County where he attended a church service and later addressed the residents of Kirinyaga. As the Deputy President was addressing a multitude of people, he has told off Governor Anne Waiguru and Wangui Ngirici due to their ongoing differences. The Deputy President William Ruto has urged the two leaders to work together in harmony and avoid divisions.
"The people of Kirinyaga are the ones who will decide who they want among our leaders. We respect every single leader and you as the people you are the ones who will decide. All these are our leaders. Ngirici and Waiguru are here and you people of Kirinyaga will decide the leader you want. We will make sure that there are free and fair, verifiable nominations," stated the Deputy President William Ruto.
The Deputy President has also assured those contestants who will lose in the nominations that they will be given a place in the UDA government if the DP will win the presidential election.
"I don't want us to fight. I'm humbly urging you to avoid conflicts, fights and insults. I want us to walk together and the people will decide," the Deputy President William Ruto added.
