Small Gap Between Raila And Ruto As The Latest Provisional Results Shows

Form 34A is the primary data source used to determine current presidential first round results. Under Article 138 of the Constitution, the IEBC will collate all results within seven days and declare the end of the presidential election.

After the votes have been counted, the Chairman fills in Form 34A. It contains a list of legally challenged ballots and a record of the votes cast for each presidential candidate in a particular polling station, delegates for each candidate.

Form 34B is used to summarize presidential election results from different constituencies. Forms are received and checked before being sent to the National Census Center.

According to IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati statement is that the official results of the presidential election will be announced on Form 34C.

At 9:10 am, Raila Odinga is still facing the Deputy President. Odinga has 5,667,513 votes, or his 49.74% of the total votes, while DP Ruto has 5,570,903 votes, or 48.89% votes. About 2.23% split his two candidates
