
North Alego MCA Vincent Odawa in Siaya County has been harshly criticised and lambasted after he was captured launching a pit latrine at Olwa Dispensary.

From the photos, the MCA was accompanied by a group of people including a Bishop and dignitaries to the event. Rumours have it that the project costed a whooping Ksh 750,000 which we should give it benefits of doubts. Its doors are made up of iron sheets.

To make the matter worse, the same toilet built by an aspirant Callisto Owino, costed around Ksh 100,000, according to a post shared online by the blogger

Kenyans on Facebook flocked the comment section to give their two cents. While reacting to the post, a section have claimed that the money used in building the latrines was enough to building over four classrooms. He has been dressed down for embezzling county funds under the guise of constructing a toilet.
