Ruto Compares Himself to Kibaki, Uhuru to Moi as He Distances Himself From Jubilee Failures

The deputy president Dr. William Ruto has once again distanced himself from the failures of the Jubilee administration, brands himself a Messiah as he compares President Uhuru Kenyatta and his predecessor Daniel Arap Moi.

According to the second in command, he is like the Messiah who will save Kenya from the economic crisis and the failures of the Uhuru's administration just like the former president Mwai Kibaki did when he took over from Moi in 2002.

"Talking about the bottom-up economics approach, I want you to see me as the former president Mwai Kibaki who saved our economy from completely collapsing. Mwai Kibaki is a perfect example of how a transformative government looks like," Ruto said.

Adding that Uhuru's administration is a failed one just like Moi's. According to him, if Mwai Kibaki, who was a vice president in Moi's failed regime was able to transform the country, then it would be an easy task for him given the similarities they share.
