This was their first rally since the ditching of the Amani national Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and the Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula on Sunday 23rd that led to total confusion in the political arena.
But to the surprise of many, the wiper party leader was not well received by his home people as some goons tried to disrupt the function forcing the police to intervene.
A voice from the background could be heard saying that people should respect their leaders as the meeting was not for a senator nor an MCA but for Kalonzo Musyoka as the goons were being led away by the police.
"Respect your leaders please, this meeting is not for the senator or the MCA, it is for Kalonzo Musyoka," the voice said.
