Those Giving Bribe to be Arrested, New Rule Which Has Met Ugandans By Shock.

Corruption has been a leading cause why most of the African countries are under development. In the East African country of Uganda, citizens have been met by a shocker after the parliament passed in to a law a bill seeking to arrest all who will give bribes to police or other government civil servants.

With police leading in taking bribes, the parliament is yet to come up who will arrest those offering the bribe. A police is likely not to arrests someone giving them money hence the need for detailed analysis for the law to be effectively implemented. Citizens are still undermsn to welcome the law whivh is meant to discourage the vice of giving bribes. In Uganda bribing is done in public when people want to seek favours from this in leardership positions.

In Kenya, the Kenya Anti Corruption Commission only investigates huge corruption cases and would be best tasked to handle the matter if the bill is passed in either senate or National assembly. What is your view of the new Ugandan law? Leave a comment.
