After Wangui Ngirici Exit, Another MT Kenya MP Quits UDA as Worrying Details Emerge About DP Ruto

Days after Kirinyaga Woman Representative Hon Wangui Ngirici a leader who was a strong pillar in the United Democratic Alliance Party dumped the party to run on an independent ticket over the citation that there is dictatorship within the party.

Fresh details have emerged as another Mt Kenya Member of Parliament and a staunch supporter of DP Ruto quits the UDA party to run on an independent ticket.

In a report via the media, Thika Town Member of Parliament Hon Patrick Wainaina Wa Jungle has dumbed the United Democratic Alliance Party to run on an independent party citing that there has been insincerity within the Party heads naming Deputy President William Ruto.

Sources that spoke to the media have informed that the decision by Hon Wainaina Wa Jungle is after DP Ruto gave fake promises to his people causing enmity between him and his constituents.

"The MP was forced to dip into his pocket to pay millions the DP had pledged to women and youth groups as part of his empowerment program in Thika and Gatundu North where he hosted the DP,” said the source who sought anonymity as quoted in the People Daily.

Wainaina Wa Jungle has also spoken informing that he has decided to make a way forward and will not turn back saying that “I am not afraid of anyone since it is the people of Kiambu who will vote for their candidate and not a clique of a few individuals,” he had said when reached for comment.

The Thika Town MP has expressed his interest in the Kiambu Governor seat come to the August polls where he will be battling it out with former Governor Ferdinand Waititu in UDA.
