Revealed: Two Things President Ruto Did in Naivasha That Caught MPs by Surprise

President William Ruto has been described as a good listener and one who reaches out to people. He embraces everyone, and he is a practical and pragmatic politician. His philosophy is "what works" as opposed to some abstract ideals.

But what surprised the members of Parliament in his party, as revealed by The Nation today, is that, one, he resided in the same hotel as them. He did not go to Nakuru State Lodge as they expected, but chose to spend the night with them in one of the nearby hotels.

Two, the president woke up earlier than most of them. He did not wait for all of them to get seated first at the venue of the meeting for him to come in. To the surprise of many lawmakers, they found him seated at the meeting venue. It paints a bad picture when the guest of honor arrives before the other attendees, and it is even more humiliating if the guest happens to be your boss.
