Led by Kandara MP Alice Wahome and Narok County woman representative Soipan Tuya, Kenya Kwanza Queens Landed in Narok County on a mission to campaign for the deputy president as he was hunting for more votes in the coastal region. Rigathi Gachagua on the other hand was busy engaging with the residents of Molo together with Susan Kihika.
The ladies landed in Narok County in style and welcomed by the locals led by Soipan who hosted them. Leaders Ole Tunai and Ole Ntuntu were also present and shared a great moment with the ladies. After their successful your, the women finished the day by condemning the killing of five girls in Nakuru. Since they are mother's, they understand the pain and urged the government to find out those behind the act.
The country has been under tension more so the areas around Nakuru as girls have been urged to stay indoors for safety. The government is investigating the matter to find out the reason they are being killed.
"Wameanza kuuwawa kule Nakuru. Women between 18 and 30 years. Wanachinja watoto Hawa wasichana wa Kenya. We want to take this opportunity during this charter discussion here in Narok as women of this country, as women leaders of the young girls we are mentoring to condemn in the strongest terms possible. The killings that are happening have been reported. It is a trending story in the news that there is a killing going on of young girls of around 18 and 35 years,," Alice Wahome said.
