Former Deputy Speaker Angered by Governor Joho's Remarks About What Raila Will Do if Elected

Former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim has expressed his dissatisfaction with Mombasa County Governor Hon Hassan Joho's remarks that he made in Meru county when he had accompanied ODM party leader Raila Odinga to market his Azimio la Umoja ahead of 2022 polls.

Governor Joho while making his remarks during the interaction with the people of Meru county, he alleged that if former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be elected as the next president of the Republic of Kenya then he will increase the market for Miraa in Somali land.

While responding to Joho's sentiment, Maalim urged the ODM second-term Governor to start looking for the miraa market in Luo kind in Nyanza.Raila's visit to Mount Kenya East was punctuated will a lot of heckles by Deputy President William Ruto supporters. The second in command enjoys huge support across the votes-rich Mount Kenya region.
