The people of Msambweni are going to have a by-election in two weeks to come. They are going to elect their Member of the county assembly. This after the death of their former MCA. The competition is between Mt Boga of ODM party and an independent candidate who is supported by Tangatanga group. Jubilee Party declined to have a candidate in this by-election. This move did not please Dr Ruto hence decided to support the candidate who was fronted by Ruto and his allies.
Today the Tangatanga members camped in Msambweni compaigning for their candidate. During this meeting, Dr Khalwale met Irene who is a class seven student. Irene was dancing for Dr Khalwale and othet visitors. Dr Khalwale offered to help Irene financially buy paying schools fees in Msambweni Technical and vocational Institute. He went ahead to buy Christmas dress and uniform for her.
Dr. Khalwale made a mistake of paradise Irene and her mother. This did not go well with Kenyans. They accused him of taking advantage of the poor for his personal political gain.
Although they acknowledged his effort to help Irene, he did no have to parade them for the public to see. Some of the reactions from Kenyans are really humiliating. Here are want they said;
