Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga is still going on with his campaigns in the Mount Kenya region. Yesterday Raila was in Meru County where he was welcomed with CS Peter Munya and Meru's Governor Kiraitu Murungi.
During the visit, today's details emerged that he was heckled as he was addressing the residents. The residents would be seen chanting Deputy President William Ruto name as Raila was talking to them.
Today while going to Tharaka Nithi, new details have emerged on how Raila was badly humiliated by a section of the residents who started throwing stones to Raila motorcade.
To cool the situation, the police officers had to intervene and chase away the residents who had plans to interfere with Raila's Azimio La Umoja ahead of the 2022 General elections.
Of late humiliation through heckling has been a form by which residents have shown their lack of interest towards a politician.
