Kenyans Attack CS Kipchumba Murkomen After He Congratulated William Kisang Over a Huge Achievement

Kenyans have attacked CS Kipchumba Murkomen after he congratulated William Kisang for winning the Elgeyo Marakwet UDA senatorial ticket.

Through his official Facebook page he wrote "Congratulations Hon. William Kisang on your nomination as the UDA flag bearer for the upcoming Senatorial by-elections in Elgeyo Marakwet County. Congratulations also to all the other candidates who put up a spirited fight and performed exemplarily . Let’s now move forward together as one indivisible family knowing that competition makes us strong together as it prepares us for service in our various capacities and in our different duty stations,"

This comes after former Marakwet West MP William Kisang was elected in the UDA’s senatorial primaries for Elgeyo Marakwet County.

He garnered 28,126 votes ahead of his rivals Tim Kipchumba and Jonah Tanui who garnered 26,756 and 26,735 votes respectively.

His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.

Kihara Wilfred says "This is ridiculous when we talk about hustlers yet you go on recycling even when his constituency rejected him .When will the new generation get elected even when unemployment as became a big issue. Kisang must fall for a new hustle to take over otherwise we can't continue educating people with no future,"

Geofrey Cherisei says "We will vote for Independent candidate,'

Deno Korir says "Just know we have a strong candidate from indipendant  ,,,,we will be the best in producing indipendant candidates just wait,"

SN Big says "I wonder why people of Elgeyo Marakwet voted for somebody they vehemently refused to be their M.p after a shamble of UDA elections in April. They now want to elevate him to be their Senator. I don't understand the logic. UDA party is doing worse in Elgeyo Marakwet county,"

Arap Limo says "It's still early to celebrate 🍾mheshimiwa naskia watu wako wanasema Tim kipchumba na independent,"
