Prominent Political Bigwigs That May Soon Decamp To DP Ruto's Hustlers Movement Ahead Of 2022

The August 2022 general elections are drawing closer and closer.Key presidential contenders are in charm offensive to ensure their political gameplan culminate into victory come next year.

The season of party-hopping and defections is here with us.Many politicians have been seen switching allegiance and defecting to new camps that they deem fit as far as their 2022 election successes are concerned.

On the presidential front, Deputy President William Ruto and ODM party leader Raila Amolo Odinga are seen as the two leading horses as far as the 2022 State House race is concerned. One Kenya Alliance outfit is seen as an alternative political force but the house seems not to be in order at the moment.

The OKA team brings together Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya,Gideon Kipsiele Moi of KANU and former Cabinet Minister Hon Cyrus Jirongo.

With the body language and the moves of the above five politicians, there seems to be a looming crack and rift in the OKA team. With Gideon Moi and Cyrus Jirongo seemingly warming up to work with ODM Party leader Raila Odinga,Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi are seen to be defiant as far calls to shelve their ambitions and support Raila ahead of 2022 are concerned.Wetangula seems to be neutral in this game but may opt to take the direction that Mudavadi may take.

Mudavadi has continuously and persistently castigated the move to have them back Raila. His hard stance is a poison in chalice to The Handshake duo 2022 gameplan.Kalonzo seems convincible and may swallow his ambitions in favour of Raila after the intervention of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a nutshell,Musalia and Wetangula may opt to play a revenge game against Raila come 2022 merely by crossing over to DP Ruto's camp in a bid to neutralize Raila's influence especially in Western Kenya.Kalonzo,Moi and Jirongo may dance to the Uhuru-Raila political tune and back the former Primier's presidential bid.
