Orange Democratic Movement Party which is led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga together with the United Democratic Alliance Party which is allied to Deputy President William Ruto has cried out after what has police have done in Rurii Ward and Bonchari Constituency.
Via the United Democratic Alliance Party Social Media page, the UDA Secretary-General Veronicah Maina has informed that Police have arrested their party agents in Rurii ward by-elections advocating for their release.
Soy Member of Parliament Hon Caleb Kositany and who serves as the Deputy President William Ruto's defacto spokesman has reacted informing the Ministry of Interior led by Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi that they should stop intimidations and allow people to decide on who will be their next leader.
"Jubilee is the face of impunity. Be a strong team, we shall overcome.UDA party protests arrest of its Chief Agent in Nyandarua's in Rurii ward Brian Mbugua and Supervisor Daniel Githinji," Caleb Kositany has informed.
Raila Odinga's aide Seth Odongo alias Disembe Dikembe has also reacted infirming CS Fred Matiangi that he should allow Kenyans to exercise their Democratic Right peacefully and that he should avoid winning through intimidations.
"CS @FredMatiangi is running a by-election like he’s running his presidential election. Kifua mbele, akili nyuma. In #Bonchari, let the people decide or at least, ‘win’ with less shame. This is what happens when senior civil servants become small gods in the public service," Former ODM Communications Director Seth Odongo has reacted.
