Deputy President William Ruto has been traversing the country and spreading his political agenda of presidency. He has already distance himself with Jubilee party and formed his own United Democratic Alliance UDA. In a bid to polarize the coastal region which is Raila Odinga's stronghold he today visited Kilifi county in company of other coast leaders.
Ruto was welcomed like a king as bodaboda riders sang Hustler! Hustler! narrative. He has associated himself as a common man who rose from nothing to became the one of the most powerful man in Kenya. During his visit Ruto promised kilifian that when he takes office in 2022 he will put their issues like land and cashew nuts factory a priority. He also called off those who have been chest thumbing of Kilifi being their bedroom that things have changed and hustler must win.
He also promised to work with local leaders for the betterment of coasterians as far as their living standards is concerned. Do you think DP Ruto will win the election? Let's engage in the comments section below.
