The Chief of hustlers nation, United Democratic Alliance(UDA )party leader and Kenyans second in command His Excellency Dr. William Somoei Ruto today hosted spiritual leaders at his Karen home on Thursday 23rd September 2021.
During the event, the deputy President of the Republic of Kenya said stated that the supporters of the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) must stop or rather avoid misleading Kenyans by claiming that the Bill was the only way to increase revenue to the counties.
Dr. William Ruto said that counties can still be given more funds through Parliament without the "conmanship" in the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). According to him, the formation of new constituencies was possible without sending the country down the unnecessary and costly path of altering the constitution.
He further stated that if Kenyans were in need of more constituencies, then the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission would have been engaged.
