Raila and his team have alredy landed in Meru shrines where they were warmly received by hundreds of elders from the community who have today agreed to endorse him as the next president in the August polls.

Raila was warmly received by the area governor who doubles up as a principal in the Azimio la Umoja coalition governor Kiraitu Murungi. Murungi strongly believing in the reform Agenda of Raila Odinga.
Also present are several leaders from the are who include Mpuri and also Peter Kenneth. The team from Azimio welcoming the move by the elders to have Raila Odinga as their preferred choice for the top seat in the coming elections scheduled for 9th.
Raila on the other hand has exuded confidence that together with the team they will make Meru a better place after the team ascends to power. Moving forward the team will now be tasked with campaigning for the ODM leader.
