In just a few days, Deputy President William Ruto has nominated him as a candidate, Rigathi Gachagua has been touring the country in search of candidates for the presidency.
The controversial Rigathi has been traveling around the Rift valley urging all locals to vote for Deputy President William Ruto and the Kenyan delegation.
His appointment is said to have created divisions in central Kenya as the number shifts to Karua's side.
However, Gachagua has ignored all critics, and popular Mathira Mp has been jailed several times for corruption.
Gachagua is best known for his strong political stance.
During his visit to the Rift valley, Gachagua was accompanied by Leaders to the area where Cape Town MP Oscar Sudi was
present.
Gachagua has urged locals not to vote for independent people in the upcoming August elections and to vote for the first time for Kenya and UDA party leaders.
