Fresh details have emerged that the police spent the better part of this night trying to stop attempts to burn the home of Ugenya MP David Ochieng. David Ochieng has been in Azimio but he recently switched camps to work with the deputy president William Ruto.

It's not yet clear of why someone would be interested to burn the home of the David Ochieng just because of politics. Interestingly, nobody cared to ask Raila Odinga when he entered into an handshake with Uhuru Kenyatta in the previous General election.
David Ochieng has vowed to emancipate the people of Nyanza region from the politics of Raila Odinga. He had remained clear of his intentions to change the politics of Nyanza region to ensure equity and effectiveness.
The CDF office was also vandalized and computer and other important documents taken away. It's a matter that has exposed Raila Odinga as undemocratic and a person whose supporters don't want an alternative.
