Copying Ruto? Raila Odinga Makes A Statement Similar To What Ruto Said About Early Campaigns

Deputy president William Ruto yesterday said that he is not campaigning for his 2022 presidential bid, and that him moving to different parts of the country is just checking on the government's projects. Ruto said that he will officially begin his campaign when the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will officially open the campaign period.

In the same way, retired prime minister Raila Odinga has said that he is not also campaigning and that him moving throughout the country is just telling the people of Kenya about the Azimio La Umoja. "Azimio La Umoja tours are consultations with the people of Kenya, and I don't know how that can be interpreted as campaigns," Raila said in a statement.

The orange Democratic Movement party chief was responding to the DP's allegations that he is not Campaigning, in which he has slammed the IEBC chair Mr Wafula Chebukati telling him to name the early campaigners and stop beating around the bush.
