Wahome argued that the Jubilee leaders did intentionally allow the collapse of the party since they did not wish Deputy President William Ruto to use it in the 2022 general elections.
Kang'ata on his side stated that the president's camp will only be left with Nyeri MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, Nominated MP Maina Kamanda and Kieni MP Kanini Kega.
The leaders also argued that the president had lost touch in his backyard for unveiling the handshake without Jubilee members consent.
