According to a ruling that was shared on Twitter by Mama Miradi this morning, she is no longer a nominated senator as the court upheld the expulsion by Jubilee. They had gone to the highest court in the country to challenge the expulsion but it seems that there is no reprieve.
"The decision to expel us from the jubilee party could be implemented any time now." Millicent Omanga said in the post. This might be arrived at any time from now as they had been kicked out of the party for going against the party's interests and disrespecting the president, according the expulsion letter read by Rapahel Tuju to the public.
She went on to allege that the court has refused to give them a certified copy of the ruling which would facilitate them going to the appealate court to seek further clearance. The senators could be jobless before the end of the day as it seems.
We will keep you posted on further development on this issue as it develops.
