Sen. Khalwale Sends Advice to Raila Immediately After Announcing Countrywide Rallies

Senator Boni Khalwale has advised ODM leader Raila Odinga not to include Kakamega County in his mass action plan.

In a statement on Monday, November 28, Khalwale asserted that Kakamega benefited from this government's focus on people selected by President Ruto's administration.

The Kakamega Senator requested that the former prime minister hold his rallies somewhere else and not in his County.

"Raila Odinga, I notice u want to sneak Kakamega into your mass action. Sorry. With Beatrice Inyangala (PS), James Muhati (PS), Hadija Nganyi (CRA), Wamatsi (Tourism) & myself we are firmly charting our path to development for our people & County. Please try your talents elsewhere," Khalwale tweeted.

In order to mobilize support for the four electoral office commissioners who are in danger of being fired, Odinga made preparations to attend a series of demonstrations on Sunday.

The four employees of the IEBC are vice-chairperson Juliana Cherera, commissioners Justus Nyang'aya, Irene Masit, and commissioner Francis Wanderi.

The former premier predicted that the protests would begin in Kenya's major cities before spreading to more rural areas.

The first group to be consulted will be Nairobi residents at the Kamukunji Grounds, and we will ask them if they concur that the IEBC commissioners ought to go back to their homes. Then we'll demonstrate how to proceed," he said.
