Moses Kuria Advises President Uhuru Kenyatta to Open up The Country or Risk a Revolution

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has asked President Uhuru to open up the country because poverty and hunger is ravaging Kenyans. Uhuru is expected to give an address to the Nation On Saturday, June 6.

Kenyans are having a high expectation that the government will relent some measures that were put in to curb the spread of coronavirus. Kuria in his Facebook account went ahead to say that hunger and poverty facing Kenyans is a recipe for Revolution.

"Dear President Uhuru Kenyatta. Open up the country tomorrow. The hunger and poverty ravaging Kenyans is a recipe for a revolution. We will work together and support you fully in mitigation measures but we can't afford one more day of this curfew and lockdown, " Moses Kuria posted.

Kuria went on to plead with the President t ignore his advisors who are seemingly pushing for the curfew and other movements to be extended. Many people are hoping things to go back to normal, as many can't afford to put food on their tables.

The tangatanga MP who was ousted from the Transport, Public Works and Housing Committee as the Vice- Chairman said that it is time to go back to normal so that the economy can grow.

"Open the country and the economy now. We can't afford this. Ignore the few elitist advisors and listen to us who interact with Wanjiku on an hourly basis. This hunger and poverty ravaging your people will haunt us forever. Tafadhali Mheshimiwa Rais," he added.
