The battle for Kirinyaga's top seat by two superwomen from UDA and independent is an interesting battle being watched by many. Independent candidate Wangui Ngirici has mocked the incumbent Waiguru vowing to send her home by 10 am.
The blast came about after the UDA candidate accused Ngirici of being in Azimio secretly. While meeting ECDE teachers, Waiguru asked them to vote her in and not her opponent as she was supporting Raila Odinga. The sentiments according to the woman representative us the only hope for Waiguru.
"Their only remaining card 😅😅😅. By 10 am we shall have mopped the county headquarters with her hair," said Ngirici.
The rivalry between the two candidates dates back to when the fierce woman representative was in UDA. The entry of Waiguru saw her being pushed back thus the bitterness.
The recent polls by Mizani placed Ngirici in the lead with a wide gap. She has maintained that she was an independent candidate not associated with either Raila Odinga
