Despite a busy schedule this weekend, William Ruto secured some time to be at a function early Saturday morning in the Mt Kenya region. He was invited by the area member of parliament Alice Wahome to launch an auditorium at Kenol.
Ruto said that his weekend schedule was fully packed with events and could only be available on Friday evening or today at 7 am. He said both were tricky options but it had to be done.
Ruto said the idea of having the auditorium located at a remote place like Kenol is indeed a great idea and will not only create jobs but also discover talents within the area.
Maybe the deputy president could have decided to skip the function and send a representative but at this time heading to 2022, he could not afford to miss. The Mt Kenya region votes seems to mean more to him than to any other presidential candidate.
