The Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was forced to bow to the norm in the field of politics and made an impromptu stopover at Nakuru town where he addressed thousands of Nakuru locals as he also pitted his next year's presidential bid.
Hon Kalonzo Musyoka hyped accolades and praises to Nakuru residents for strictly observing high-end cleanness within the city and squarely planting trees that taps even rainfall that would make the agricultural sector prosper through increased production of farm produce.
"I want to appreciate Nakuru county residents for keeping Nakuru town clean at all time, it is now a city that every other person would admire to visit" he noted.
Kalonzo also drummed for his 2022 presidential intention and urged electorates to desist and do away with politicians who allegedly steal their money and later come to stash to thousands of jobless youths as handouts in the name of empowering them.
"We want to end theft and embezzlement of funds from public, someone steals your money and then comes later to give you in form of handouts at the expense of advancing his political interest" he stressed.
However, it was keenly observed that as Kalonzo was addressing the gathering, a sections of businesses went on unperturbed just some few diameters away from the scene. Normally, when an influential and powerful politician visits an area, most businesses close due to the razzmatazz that might erupt during the rally. Some close to express their solid support to the visiting leader.
At the same time, Kalonzo asked Nakuru residents if the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta and his BBI partner Raila Odinga should join One Kenya Alliance (OKA) or not. To his surprise, the rude crowd declined to lift their hands in agreement with his sentiments.
Watching to Kalonzo's live video from 6:30 minute to 7:00, you will see the rude reactions from the crowd.
"Wangapi wanasema Uhuru na Raila wanafaa kujoin One Kenya Alliance, hebu nione kwa mikono?" Kalonzo paused
