A number of politicians and their supporter's are still waiting, with bated breath on a shortlist from the Public Service Commission as they hope for survival in William Ruto's government. These are politicians who majorly lost in the last elections and see themselves as not ready yet to retire in politics. Some of then feel that they took risks in terms of party affiliation just to show how loyal they are to President William Ruto. They would however not make it. For others, they sacrificed their bids after persuasion by the then DP and reserved not to vie.
The list has some big names;
Cleopas Malala who ran for Kakamega governor, Margaret Wanjiru who ran for Nairobi senator, Former governor Mike Sonko, Former Migori governor Okoth Obado, Former MP Chris Wamalwa who ran for Trans Nzoia governor, Millicent Omanga, Wangui Ngirici and former CS Rashid Echesa. We wait to see on the final shortlist.
