ODM governor has found himself in trouble after the latest ruling by the court over his election.
Kajiando governor, Joseph Ole Lenku, was contesting the gubernatorial seat with Katoo Ole Metito, who is the current State house, Comptroller and David Nkedianye. (former governor)
Having been a hot contest, Metito filed a petition requesting a recount of votes. However, he got a new appointment in the current regime and withdrew the case.
Other parties took over the case which resulted in Justice Mulwa's ruling; scrutiny and recount of votes. Rejected ballot papers are also to be recounted. From her statement also, polling station diaries, Kiems Kit logs and declaration of forms 34A from 16 polling stations will be checked.
"For the purpose of enabling the orders I have given, the 1st and 2nd respondents shall avail to the deputy registrar of the election petition court the requisite election materials, including all the originals or duly certified copies of forms 37A, 37B and Form 37C," the judge said.
