Musalia Mudavadi's Bomas announcement has drawn a lot of attention from other Kenyan politicians especially after the appearance of deputy president William Ruto in the event. According to many, Mudavadi's Earthquake was a show that he could work with DP Ruto after his pointman Cleophas Malala hinted about it severally.
However, according to the Nyeri Town constituency member of Parliament Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu, the biggest mistake Ruto has done and which is a repeat of what he does is telling Mt Kenya to fold their parties and join his UDA party.
Wambugu has faulted Ruto for welcoming people of other regions to work with him through their parties but telling those from Mt Kenya to fold their and form one formidable party. " We won't allow," Wambugu has said.

It now clear that Mudavadi may work with Ruto ahead of the August 9 polls, but the course of Mt Kenya within UDA is what is now unpredictable.
