DP William Ruto's Point Man Reacts After Raila Odinga Was Heckled in Tharaka-Nithi County

Raila Odinga's today tour in Tharaka-Nithi County encountered heckling and chaos, with some of his supporters getting roughed up by those who are against Raila's 2022 presidency.

The drama started when a section of the road was blocked by residents who burnt tyres along the road.

Regardless of the drama that unfolded, the ODM leader went on and talked to his loyal supporters who gave him a king welcome.

Raila was on Monday also heckled when he toured Meru County. Ruto chants filled the air when he was addressing the residents, but that did not stop him from sharing his agenda

Deputy President William Ruto's point man Dennis Itumbi has reacted to the heckling being experienced in the country

Taking to Twitter, Itumbi has Kenyans listen to different leaders without heckling them, adding that heckling and shouting when leaders are giving their speeches are not necessary.

"Let everyone sell their ideas..No no need to heckle or shout anyone down..A battle of ideas, vision and clarity.. Spontaneous or organised, it is completely unnecessary. It happened during BBI, in Kieni also & today in various towns. That is my strong view," he said.
